The Gugen Research Institute turns the relationships between people, machines, society, and nature into questions that can be tested. Its first study is The EGG.
Research-institution registration (e-Rad) was completed in August 2026. We are inviting an external researcher to direct quality, method and ethics. Findings are published only after review that includes an outside perspective. Researchers who are interested are welcome to get in touch.
Project 01
R&D15-minute isolation with AI voice dialogue
An immersive space that shuts out the world for fifteen minutes while you talk with an AI by voice. It is the experimental apparatus for the Gugen Research Institute's first study. The enclosure and the dialogue system are built. We are fixing the measurement process and the ethics process. We will publish about effects only after they have been tested.

Preparing a collaborationHydroponic production site
We measure light, conductivity, temperature, humidity, CO2 and water flow, and control flow, valves and daylight. We are preparing a joint study on a hydroponic production site.
