General
How do Gugen's services differ?
Gugen AX, our core, is AI delivery plus the support that follows, until your team can run it in-house. The aim is to run that work from next month without adding people. Makaseta is an AI operations OS we build into each company so your team can run it. The Gugen Research Institute turns the relationships between people, machines, society, and nature into questions that can be tested. Its first study is The EGG.
Which services are currently available?
Gugen AX is open for enquiries. Makaseta starts with two weeks of free work mapping. The Gugen Research Institute takes enquiries about joint research. The EGG is the experimental apparatus for the institute's first study and is not for sale.
Which AI areas are you strong in?
We focus on AI for work you want to run without adding people: internal knowledge search, enquiry handling, and routine back-office work. Technically that centers on LLM, RAG and vector search, and we choose Azure, GCP or AWS to fit the requirements.
How do you handle NDAs and confidentiality?
For sensitive work we start with scope and PoC design after an NDA. How the material is handled is agreed once we have heard the engagement.
About Gugen AX
How is pricing structured?
Gugen AX pricing is available as a PDF (Japanese) under "Pricing and materials" on the services page. Makaseta is quoted per company after we map your work. The first consultation is free.
What is the minimum project size?
You can start with an AX diagnosis (JPY 50,000, excluding tax). Small builds such as an internal chatbot are in scope too.
What kind of projects do you take on?
For prep schools, commerce, financial institutions, manufacturing, real estate and education, we have worked on internal chatbots, AI enquiry systems, requirements for drawing search, and an AI tutor. Some of this was personal work by the founding members before the company was incorporated.
Can you take on hardware development as well?
Gugen AX covers hardware development alongside software delivery. Please get in touch about projects that involve prototyping.
How engagements work
Can I talk to you before I know what I want built?
Yes. We can start from deciding what AI should take over at all: we inventory the work and separate what AI can handle from the judgment that should stay with people. The same team does the design, the build and the support, so you never get handed off.
What do the AI training programs cover?
We design and supervise training for your employees. Rather than a generic course, we inventory the actual work first and build the content around how it will be used on the ground.
Do you support us until we can run it in-house?
Yes. Gugen AX is built on the premise that we stay until your team can run it without us. We prevent knowledge silos by putting operating rules and documentation in place.
About The EGG
Can individuals purchase The EGG?
It is not for sale. It is the experimental apparatus for the Gugen Research Institute's first study.
What's the current development status?
The enclosure and the dialogue system are built. We are fixing the measurement process and the ethics process.
